Configurators for manufacturers

I build the tool that turns a website visitor into a specified, priced order.

Made-to-measure products are still sold through contact forms and callbacks. I build 3D configurators with live pricing and automated quoting that run on your own domain, in your own brand, on your own price rules, built for window manufacturers and for sign makers.

Two products

One configurator engine, built out twice for two trades that share the same problem.

A window and a built-up letter are both made to measure, both priced from a formula the workshop already knows, and both end in a specification a machine has to read. The engine is the same; the catalogue, the geometry and the production output are not.

Working demonstration

How I work

Scoped against your catalogue before anything is promised.

Delivery time depends on one thing: how large and how complex your product range is. A focused range moves quickly; a multi-brand catalogue with dealer price tiers takes longer. Rather than quote a date I would have to walk back, I scope it against your actual range first, and then the date and the figure are fixed.

01

A short call

Twenty minutes. What you make, how you price it, where a configurator sits on your site, and who inside your business it has to serve.

02

A scoped plan and a fixed figure

In writing after the call: what gets built, the delivery timeline against your specific catalogue, and the cost. No open-ended engagement.

03

Your catalogue goes in

Products, profile systems, materials, finishes, hardware, size limits and pricing rules, configured and checked against quotes you have already issued, so the numbers it produces match the numbers you would have produced.

04

Live on your domain, in your brand

Hosted and maintained by me if you have no infrastructure to run it on, or deployed into yours if you do. Your customers see your site throughout.

Who builds it

One developer, one specialism, direct contact.

No account manager, no ticket queue, no discovery phase billed by the week. You talk to the person writing the code, which is why scoping takes a call rather than a month, and why a change request takes days rather than a release cycle.

I build 3D product configurators and quoting systems for window and sign manufacturers. The software is mine, built from the ground up. I take on a small number of deployments at a time, so that each catalogue gets built properly rather than quickly. See how I work.
